Some of you might have noted site slowdowns recently - our traffic at peak times is 50-75% higher than it was a month ago. Our server is responding accordingly :( . Val is working on a very cool general upgrade to the community, and we'll hopefully have a new server solution very soon. Sorry for the slowdown - we're working on it!

Is the fault of increased interest in AIME? ;)
BTW I think it may be interesting to see which countries cause which traffic and when those peak times happen to take place.

Could well be.

Peak time is definitively 4 - 7 PM PT (7-10 PM ET).

Yeah, I noticed that. Then I downloaded Google Web Accelerator, and AoPS got faster than it was before it started slowing down. Also, IE7 is faster than Firefox for AoPS. It really kills me to say that...
