Yet Another Trial Video

by rrusczyk, Aug 18, 2008, 6:49 PM

Here's yet another trial video. Comments? I'm curious to hear about the style and how well the video plays and appears on your computer.

(Extra points if you can figure out where I got the TShirt.)

cool video

the display is also awsome

funny observation when you show where your name is the only corrner which you don't show is the one with your name ...

and a funny endind ...(and sorry we're not gonna buy the pizza :D )

it would be even more interesting for me if you would be talking about more advanced things .... (no rush though)

edit : the option that i can show the problem in writing is also great

edit2: i had problems with submitting the comments to the video

It loads and plays reasonably fast on my computer. Sound and video quality were great. :)

After having watched the video, I suddenly want pizza, but I'm too lazy to walk past my driveway, yet alone to California, and there is only $ \binom{1}{1}=1$ way to send myself walking there. :(

And for the extra points, Google Image Search yielded this.

It was great, except for one thing. Whenever you moved quickly, like when you erased the board, you blurred at the edges.

That's because I'm so fast.

(More seriously, how annoying is that slight blurring -- basically, I have to make a trade-off between motion quality and writing quality.)

Pretty solid overall. The blurring wasn't a real issue, in my opinion. You came off as a little quirky heh.

idea: Doing entire lectures for classes like this? Or like just posting a video of you working through the problem currently posted in the classroom. I seem to remember averaging around 10 problems a class, times about 6-8 classes per semester. Its a lot of problems, but with time it could become very usable.

For me, the blur was a little annoying, but tolerable.
