Upcoming Math Jam on Careers in Finance

For those of you interested in a career in trading, IMO gold medalist, USAMO winner, and National MATHCOUNTS Champion Sasha Schwartz will be hosting a Math Jam on Dec 13 at 7:30PM ET about careers in finance. Sasha is now working at DE Shaw with some of the same people I used to work with.

This is one math jam I can't forget about (like the USAMTS math jams :P ).

Well, could you make this math jam a little bit earlier. If I am not mistaken this will be at 12:30 am German time. I have a vivid interest in machine learning and data mining. Or to say it in math terms I am very interested in statistical data analysis and probability theory. One of the questions of concern to me would be of how much these skills may help me in trading business, in particular DE Shaw. Anyway I like these AoPS Math Jams, especially the one about MIT. I just like the quality of MIT teaching material. Thus I am benefiting a lot by using the MIT OCW including lecture slides, course works with solutions and references. The only disadvantage is that video lecture records can be retrieved from within the MIT only.
