Thank You, Fellow Taxpayers

It's rare that I can point to a large piece of government pork that very directly and obviously goes to me at the expense of the vast majority of others who have not made the same choice I have, but I'd like to thank all you taxpayers out there for your contributions to the bailout bill that just significantly decreased the cost of the solar power installation we've been in the process of getting for our house for the last couple months. Thanks for subsidizing me, everyone! (FWIW, I don't think the bill should have been larded up with this sort of stuff. But admittedly, we probably wouldn't have gotten the solar without the massive subsidy California gives to it.)
